As a Grants Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting NVPC’s various initiatives by assisting in the end-to-end grant lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the full grant cycle, from initial application intake and thorough review to award disbursement and final closure.
- Conduct initial screening of grant applications to ensure completeness, accuracy, and strict adherence to established guidelines.
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date records of all grant-related documentation within the grants management system.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external applicants to clarify information, address queries, and facilitate a smooth application process.
- Support the meticulous preparation of reports, presentations, and analyses on grant activities and outcomes for various internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor grant performance and compliance, assisting with progress tracking, financial reporting, and impact assessment.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from potential grantees and community partners, providing clear, helpful, and accurate information.
- Contribute actively to the continuous improvement of grant administration processes, policies, and guidelines to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate clearly and concisely.
- Strong organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for document creation, data management, and presentations.
