Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a structured training program to understand grant management principles and practices.
  • Assist senior Grants Managers with various administrative tasks related to grant applications and awards.
  • Support researchers in identifying suitable funding opportunities and understanding grant requirements.
  • Help prepare and review grant application components, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain organized records and databases of grant applications, submissions, and awards.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external funding agencies as guided by senior staff.
  • Learn about budget development and financial reporting for grant-funded projects.
  • Assist with compliance checks and ensuring adherence to funder guidelines.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of grant management processes and tools.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
