Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in a structured rotational program across various mining departments including production, maintenance, planning, and safety.
- Shadow experienced Mine Managers and team leaders to learn operational procedures, safety protocols, and management techniques.
- Contribute to project planning and execution, providing support for data analysis and operational improvements.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all company safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) policies and procedures.
- Develop leadership and supervisory skills through mentorship, workshops, and hands-on experience.
- Assist in the monitoring and reporting of operational performance metrics.
- Engage with local communities and stakeholders under the guidance of senior management.
- Undertake assigned learning modules and certifications relevant to mining management.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal (English and Portuguese preferred).
- High level of integrity, strong work ethic, and a proactive attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to live and work in a remote mining environment.
