Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in a structured rotational program across various mining departments including production, maintenance, planning, and safety.
  • Shadow experienced Mine Managers and team leaders to learn operational procedures, safety protocols, and management techniques.
  • Contribute to project planning and execution, providing support for data analysis and operational improvements.
  • Learn and strictly adhere to all company safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) policies and procedures.
  • Develop leadership and supervisory skills through mentorship, workshops, and hands-on experience.
  • Assist in the monitoring and reporting of operational performance metrics.
  • Engage with local communities and stakeholders under the guidance of senior management.
  • Undertake assigned learning modules and certifications relevant to mining management.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related technical field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal (English and Portuguese preferred).
  • High level of integrity, strong work ethic, and a proactive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to live and work in a remote mining environment.
