Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance software systems.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in one or more general-purpose programming languages.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members.
- Collaborate with product management and other engineering teams to define and implement new features and improvements.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across various layers of the technology stack.
- Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to launch and ongoing operations.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Research and evaluate new technologies to enhance system performance, reliability, and security.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages, such as Java, C++, Python, or Go.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems and cloud computing principles.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other major cloud providers.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Angular) for full-stack roles.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and techniques.
- Contribution to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
