We are seeking an accomplished and highly motivated Wealth Manager to join our Private Wealth Management team in Arlington, Riverside. As a Wealth Manager at Goldman Sachs, you will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with high-net-worth clients, providing them with comprehensive financial advice and sophisticated investment solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and grow a book of high-net-worth client relationships.
- Conduct in-depth financial analyses to understand clients' current financial situations, goals, and risk tolerance.
- Design and implement tailored investment portfolios and wealth management strategies across various asset classes.
- Provide expert advice on a wide range of financial topics including investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, tax strategies, philanthropic giving, and risk mitigation.
- Monitor market trends and economic conditions to advise clients on potential impacts to their portfolios and adapt strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with internal specialists (e.g., trust, lending, and insurance) to deliver integrated, holistic client solutions.
- Ensure all client activities and recommendations comply with regulatory requirements and firm policies, maintaining the highest standards of integrity.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base through referrals, networking, and direct outreach.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Goldman Sachs' full suite of products and services, effectively articulating their value to clients.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65) licenses required; additional licenses may be beneficial.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or investment advisory roles serving high-net-worth clients.
- Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and grow client relationships through proactive engagement and exceptional service.
- Proven track record of success in new business development and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong knowledge of investment products, capital markets, financial planning principles, and tax implications.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and a client-centric focus with a strong ethical foundation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree (MBA) or relevant advanced professional designations (e.g., CFA, CFP®).
- Existing book of transferable client relationships within the Southern California market.
- Experience with complex estate planning and multi-generational wealth transfer strategies.
- Proficiency with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, NaviPlan) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
