Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements and functional specifications through various techniques such as interviews, workshops, and process mapping.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring clear communication and mutual understanding of project objectives and technical constraints.
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements.
  • Design and propose innovative business solutions that align with strategic goals, improve efficiency, and enhance client experience.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including business requirement documents (BRDs), use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
  • Participate in the full project lifecycle, from initial concept through implementation and post-launch support, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Develop and execute test plans, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and manage defect resolution to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and project management.
  • Facilitate training and change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes within the financial services sector.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a complex enterprise environment, preferably within financial services or technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information from various sources and formulate actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
  • Experience with data modeling, SQL, and other data analysis tools.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and software development lifecycles (SDLC).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment and manage multiple priorities.
