Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production operators to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards (e.g., ISO/TS).
  • Monitor production schedules, workflow, and material flow to identify and address potential bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
  • Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, provide performance feedback, and facilitate training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain departments to resolve production issues and optimize processes.
  • Prepare and analyze production reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and present findings to management.
  • Manage employee attendance, vacation requests, and address disciplinary issues in accordance with company policy.
  • Actively participate in problem-solving activities using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D, Fishbone) to identify root causes and implement sustainable countermeasures.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a diverse team.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with production planning and control systems (e.g., SAP, MES).
  • Certifications in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher).
  • Experience with robotic systems or automated manufacturing processes.
