Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wireless, Data Center networks).
- Monitor network performance, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security of all network services.
- Perform regular network diagnostic tests, identify issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points from various vendors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing network systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, procedures, and topology.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical network support and incident response.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and company procedures.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer, preferably in a telecommunications environment.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), and switching technologies.
- Proficiency with network hardware from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Huawei).
- Experience with network security principles, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent industry certifications.
- Experience with SDN/NFV technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud networking platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting).
- Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
