Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective customers in a professional and friendly manner, both in-person and over the phone/email.
- Listen actively to customer needs and preferences to identify suitable General Motors vehicles.
- Provide comprehensive product knowledge, including features, benefits, specifications, and technology of various GM models.
- Conduct compelling vehicle demonstrations and accompany customers on test drives.
- Negotiate sales terms, close deals, and guide customers through the necessary paperwork.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring follow-up after sales.
- Utilize CRM software to manage customer leads and maintain detailed sales records.
- Stay informed about current sales promotions, financing options, and vehicle inventory.
- Collaborate with the sales management and finance departments to facilitate a smooth sales process.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Adhere to all dealership policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Required Skills
- Proven track record in sales or customer service, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- High level of self-motivation, drive, and enthusiasm.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with sales software/CRM systems.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
