Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Manage and lead a team of supervisors and crew members, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Ensure exceptional Guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales, profitability, and operational goals.
  • Manage inventory, control food and labor costs, and ensure adherence to budgeting guidelines.
  • Uphold all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor equipment maintenance and facility cleanliness, ensuring a safe and appealing environment.
  • Handle Guest complaints and resolve issues effectively and courteously.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and recognize achievements.
  • Actively engage in local marketing and community initiatives to build brand presence and drive traffic.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a high-volume restaurant setting.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with a track record of motivating and developing staff.
  • Exceptional Guest service orientation and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant financial management, including P&L, inventory control, and labor costs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in restaurant POS systems and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety management certification.
  • Experience with Freddy's or a similar fast-casual concept.
  • Proven ability to increase sales and profitability through innovative strategies.
