You’ll be responsible for the careful and methodical loading and unloading of merchandise from our delivery trucks, ensuring all items are secured properly to prevent any damage during transit. Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of furniture, appliances, and electronics onto and off delivery trucks.
- Carefully transport merchandise into customer homes, navigating various obstacles while protecting property.
- Perform basic assembly of furniture items at customer residences according to manufacturer instructions.
- Inspect merchandise for damages or defects before and after delivery; report any issues promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and ensuring a positive delivery experience.
- Handle delivery paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the truck and at delivery sites.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong physical stamina and endurance.
