Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Full-Time Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operational activities, ensuring smooth workflow between production, warehousing, and distribution.
- Monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and manage logistics documentation to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Production, Finance) and external stakeholders (e.g., suppliers, transport partners) to resolve operational issues and ensure effective communication.
- Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Prepare and analyse operational reports, identifying trends, potential bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Manage data entry related to orders, stock movements, and production schedules with high accuracy.
- Support the Operations Manager in various projects, including system upgrades, process optimisation, and new product launches.
- Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards within operational processes.
- Proactively identify and address potential operational risks, escalating complex issues as necessary.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence, seeking out efficiencies and innovative solutions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in an Operations Coordinator or similar role, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing, or logistics.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong working relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A keen eye for detail and high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- Understanding of supply chain processes and logistics principles.
