Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of DATEV software solutions for new and existing clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and discovery sessions to understand client requirements and business processes.
  • Configure and customize software applications to align with client-specific workflows and operational needs.
  • Provide expert training and workshops to client teams on software usage, best practices, and advanced features.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation process.
  • Collaborate with internal product development, sales, and support teams to resolve technical issues and enhance product capabilities.
  • Create detailed documentation, including project plans, configuration guides, and training materials.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Offer post-implementation support and optimization recommendations to ensure long-term client success and satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in software implementation, technical consulting, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, particularly in financial accounting, payroll, or ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to complex challenges.
  • Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting software applications.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DATEV software products or similar accounting/HR/ERP systems.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CSM).
  • Familiarity with SQL databases and data migration techniques.
  • Experience working in a professional services environment (e.g., tax consulting, auditing firms).
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
