Job Description
Rappi is seeking an exceptional and visionary Director of Marketing to lead our dynamic marketing efforts in Colombia. This pivotal role will be instrumental in driving brand awareness, user acquisition, engagement, and retention across our diverse service offerings. As a Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Rappi’s aggressive growth objectives and market leadership ambitions. You will manage a talented team, foster creativity, leverage data-driven insights, and champion innovative campaigns that resonate deeply with our target audiences. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies (digital, ATL, BTL) to achieve ambitious growth targets for user acquisition, retention, and brand equity in Colombia.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee budget allocation and optimize marketing spend across various channels to maximize ROI.
- Drive data-driven decision-making through robust analytics, market research, and A/B testing to refine strategies and campaign performance.
- Manage brand positioning, messaging, and communication to ensure consistency and relevance across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and sales teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and product launches.
- Identify emerging market trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer insights to inform strategic adjustments.
- Develop and execute integrated campaigns for new service launches, promotional events, and key strategic initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with external agencies, media partners, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with local regulations and ethical standards.
Required Skills
- Proven track record of 5+ years in marketing leadership roles, preferably within tech, e-commerce, or on-demand services.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing large-scale, impactful marketing strategies that drive measurable results.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing (SEM, SEO, paid social, app install campaigns) and brand building.
- Expertise in data analysis, market research, and utilizing insights to inform marketing decisions.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
- Deep understanding of the Colombian consumer market and digital landscape.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, hyper-growth startup or scale-up environment.
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
