In this fully remote role, you’ll have the flexibility to manage your working hours while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions for our clients, primarily within the financial services sector. You’ll be instrumental in creating seamless user experiences on the front-end and building efficient, high-performance services on the back-end. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality web applications across the full stack (frontend and backend).
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and industry standards.
- Design and implement robust APIs and backend services using modern frameworks.
- Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces with contemporary frontend technologies.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to architectural guidelines.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to improve functionality and performance.
- Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and maintenance.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously seek opportunities for professional growth.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework.
- Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM technologies.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
- Understanding of software development principles, including clean code, testing, and debugging.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote, distributed team.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
