Job Description

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced FPGA Engineer to join our thriving team in Warsaw, with an immediate start. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and meticulously verify complex FPGA architectures using VHDL/Verilog and adhering to modern design methodologies.
  • Implement and rigorously test FPGA designs on various target hardware platforms, ensuring optimal functionality, performance, and unwavering reliability.
  • Perform in-depth timing analysis, strategic power optimization, and efficient resource utilization analysis for FPGA designs.
  • Develop comprehensive test benches and robust verification plans, leveraging industry-standard simulation tools (e.g., ModelSim, QuestaSim) and advanced hardware verification techniques.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to precisely define requirements, flawlessly integrate FPGA designs with embedded software, and provide essential hardware support.
  • Contribute actively to system-level architecture discussions and provide esteemed technical leadership for all FPGA-related projects.
  • Efficiently debug and resolve intricate hardware issues, both within simulation environments and on physical hardware boards.
  • Meticulously document all design specifications, detailed verification reports, and critical implementation details.
  • Stay continuously informed and up-to-date with emerging FPGA technologies, cutting-edge tools, and evolving industry best practices.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in FPGA design and verification.
  • Proven proficiency in VHDL/Verilog for RTL design.
  • Extensive experience with leading FPGA development tools (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus Prime).
  • Solid understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) concepts and their effective implementation in FPGAs.
  • Demonstrated experience with high-speed serial protocols (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet) and various memory interfaces (e.g., DDRx).
  • Proficiency with advanced simulation and verification methodologies (e.g., UVM, SystemVerilog).
  • Hands-on experience with standard lab equipment for debugging and validation (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
  • Experience with embedded processors integrated within FPGAs (e.g., Xilinx Zynq, Intel Nios II).
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Tcl) for design automation.
  • Familiarity with modern version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Prior experience in specific industry domains such as telecommunications, defense, medical devices, or automotive.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Polish or Hebrew is considered a valuable asset, especially for international project contexts.
