Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test electrical components, modules, and systems for integration into various vehicle platforms.
  • Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and wiring harness design using industry-standard CAD tools.
  • Conduct thorough electrical system validation, including bench testing, HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) simulation, and vehicle-level testing.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of electrical parts and systems.
  • Analyze test data, identify root causes of failures, and implement robust corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, design documents, and validation plans.
  • Stay abreast of emerging electrical engineering technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements relevant to automotive applications.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical system design, development, and validation, preferably within the automotive sector.
  • Proficiency with electrical CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics, OrCAD).
  • Strong understanding of automotive electrical architectures, communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet), and diagnostic standards.
  • Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and firmware development.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience with high-voltage systems and battery management systems in electric vehicles (EVs).
  • Familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO 26262).
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) principles and testing.
  • Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS) and configuration management.
