Key Responsibilities
- Execute various tasks in food preparation, assembly, and packaging lines with precision and efficiency.
- Operate and monitor essential kitchen and packaging equipment safely and according to established guidelines.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety (HACCP), sanitation, and hygiene protocols to maintain a sterile work environment.
- Perform quality checks on ingredients and finished products, reporting any discrepancies or issues immediately.
- Assist in the receiving, storage, and inventory management of raw materials and finished goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and production areas throughout the shift.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Follow instructions accurately and adapt to changing production needs in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and consistency.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding and willingness to adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food production, manufacturing, or commercial kitchen setting.
- Valid Los Angeles County Food Handler Card or willingness to obtain one upon hire.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus, though not required.
