Key Responsibilities
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and portioning ingredients.
- Accurately assemble food orders at the counter, ensuring all items are prepared according to recipes and customer specifications.
- Efficiently run prepared food from the kitchen to the counter or customer tables, maintaining a fast and friendly service pace.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to take customer orders, process payments, and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, making recommendations, and addressing any concerns promptly and courteously.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the food prep stations, counter, dining area, and dishwashing station.
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to uphold health and safety standards.
- Stock and replenish inventory at the counter, ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available.
- Assist with washing dishes, sanitizing equipment, and performing general cleaning duties as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service flow and a positive working environment.
