Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take food orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other food items according to Subway's strict recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system; ensure accuracy in all financial dealings.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food preparation areas, dining areas, and restrooms.
- Restock food items, beverages, and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., toasters, ovens).
- Adhere to all food safety and health regulations, including proper food handling and temperature control.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure fast and friendly service, especially during peak hours.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned, including cleaning, stocking, and preparing for the next shift.
