As a Product Manager at Flutterwave, you will immerse yourself in market research, analyze competitive landscapes, and gather comprehensive customer feedback to identify opportunities for new products and enhancements. You will work closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and operations teams to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable product specifications and user stories. Your role will involve constant iteration, A/B testing, and performance monitoring to ensure product success and drive user adoption. Key Responsibilities

  • Define and articulate product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for assigned product areas, aligning with overall company goals.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and user research to identify opportunities and unmet customer needs.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and QA teams throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and make data-driven decisions on product enhancements.
  • Launch new products and features, working with marketing and sales teams on go-to-market strategies.
  • Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and iterate on products based on user feedback and data.
  • Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes within the FinTech space.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in the FinTech industry (preferably payments).
  • Strong understanding of product management methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in creating user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
