Premium Aquacultural Products (PAP) Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fish Farm Attendant to join our dynamic team in Port Harcourt. As a Fish Farm Attendant, you will be instrumental in the daily care and management of our aquatic stock, ensuring optimal conditions for growth and health. Your role will involve a variety of hands-on tasks, from feeding and monitoring fish behavior to maintaining water quality and ensuring the cleanliness of our facilities. We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, physically capable, and possesses a strong work ethic. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily feeding of fish stock according to established schedules and protocols.
- Monitor fish behavior and health, promptly reporting any signs of stress, disease, or unusual activity.
- Perform regular checks of water quality parameters (e.g., pH, oxygen levels, temperature) and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Clean and maintain tanks, ponds, and other aquaculture equipment to ensure hygienic conditions.
- Assist with the grading, sorting, and harvesting of fish.
- Participate in the transfer of fish between different rearing systems.
- Maintain accurate daily records of feeding, water quality, growth, and other relevant data.
- Report equipment malfunctions or facility issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to all biosecurity and safety protocols.
- Assist with general farm maintenance and other duties as assigned by the farm manager.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying.
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for record-keeping.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working on a farm, particularly a fish farm, is an advantage.

- Ability to operate basic farm equipment (e.g., pressure washer).
