Job Description
First Bank is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented, and highly motivated Marketing Officer to join our vibrant team in Bodejo, Abuja. This pivotal role requires an individual with a passion for brand building, customer engagement, and strategic market penetration within the financial services sector. As a Marketing Officer, you will be instrumental in developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that enhance First Bank’s brand visibility, drive customer acquisition, and foster enduring customer loyalty in the Bodejo and wider Abuja market. You will be responsible for a diverse range of marketing activities, including market research, campaign management, digital marketing initiatives, and event coordination, all aimed at achieving our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the Bodejo and Abuja regions.
- Develop, implement, and manage integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, OOH, events) to promote First Bank's products and services.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing materials and strategies that support their targets and enhance customer engagement.
- Manage the bank’s local social media presence and online reputation, ensuring brand consistency and active community engagement.
- Organize and participate in local community events, sponsorships, and outreach programs to enhance brand visibility and foster community relations.
- Analyze campaign performance data, provide insights, and recommend actionable strategies for continuous improvement and ROI optimization.
- Monitor competitor activities and market share, providing regular reports and strategic recommendations.
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory guidelines and internal brand standards.
- Prepare and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in marketing within the banking or financial services industry (minimum 3 years)
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and execution
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
