Key Responsibilities

- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and key stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with various departments (e.g., Merchandising, Marketing, Operations) to gather data, understand business drivers, and ensure alignment on financial goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the finance function.
- Support strategic initiatives and special projects, providing financial expertise and analytical support.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly business reviews and annual operating plans.
- Monitor economic and industry trends impacting the retail sector, particularly those affecting cross-border operations between the U.S. and Canada.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial statements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
