Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end financial operations for Humana's global sponsorship programs, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence for prospective and existing sponsorship opportunities, assessing financial viability and ROI.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate the performance and impact of global sponsorship investments.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant financial regulations, internal policies, and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) related to sponsorship activities.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, legal, and corporate communications teams to align financial strategies with sponsorship objectives and contractual obligations.
- Negotiate and review financial terms of sponsorship agreements, ensuring favorable conditions and risk mitigation.
- Monitor expenditure against budget, identify variances, and provide actionable recommendations for corrective actions.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting key financial metrics and strategic insights.
- Act as a primary financial liaison for external partners and agencies involved in global sponsorship initiatives.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or corporate finance.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Experience with financial reporting and presentation to diverse stakeholders.
