Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with banking regulations and accounting principles.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts for corporate departments.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in operational efficiency and cost management.
  • Manage general ledger accounts, including preparing and posting journal entries, and performing account reconciliations.
  • Provide financial support and guidance to various corporate departments, helping them understand their financial performance and adhere to budget constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, banking policies, and external regulatory requirements (e.g., GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley).
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of financial systems and process improvements.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as required by senior management.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis) and financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance or MBA.
  • CPA or CMA certification.

  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards.
