As a Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring absolute accuracy, compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and adherence to internal company policies. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including general ledger, financial reporting, and compliance activities.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strict adherence to GAAP and company policies.
  • Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements, detailed budgets, forecasts, and variance reports, providing insightful explanations.
  • Develop and implement robust internal controls and accounting procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to support business planning, operational efficiency, and key decision-making.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and facilitating smooth audit processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives within the accounting division to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall effectiveness of financial operations.
  • Ensure continuous compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, providing expert financial guidance and support.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory capacity.
  • Strong, in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in enterprise-level financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday Financials).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling, and complex data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and persuasively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-volume corporate environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration (MBA).
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Experience within the entertainment, hospitality, or media industries.

  • Experience with large-scale corporate financial systems implementations or upgrades.
