Job Description
SAIC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Executive to lead a pivotal role within our Remote Department. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust financial strategies, plans, and forecasts to support SAIC's overall business objectives and growth.
- Lead and manage a remote finance team, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Oversee all financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and long-range strategic planning for assigned departments/programs.
- Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, procedures, and government regulations (e.g., FAR, CAS), maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.
- Provide critical financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to drive informed business decisions and optimize resource allocation.
- Manage the preparation of financial reports, statements, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, developing strategies for mitigation and exploitation.
- Collaborate with program managers and technical leads to monitor project financial performance, ensuring projects remain within budget and meet profitability targets.
- Utilize advanced financial software and remote collaboration tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership or executive capacity.
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting within a large organization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage remote or distributed teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of government contracting regulations (FAR, CAS) and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree (MBA or MS in Finance/Accounting).
