Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability assessments to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with departmental leaders to gather data and build comprehensive financial models.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions efficiently and accurately, maintaining meticulous records.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all accounting tasks.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial support and analysis for special projects as required by senior management or other business units.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a hybrid work environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial principles, accounting standards (GAAP), and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA candidate).
  • Experience with financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday Financials).
