Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial policies.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation, both physical and electronic, ensuring easy retrieval for audits.
- Generate financial reports as required by management, including expense reports and budget summaries.
- Support the finance team with data analysis, spreadsheet management, and presentation preparation.
- Respond to financial inquiries from internal departments and external vendors in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of audit materials and respond to auditor requests.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
