Job Description

Intel Israel is seeking a motivated and technically curious individual to join our dynamic team as a Field Application Engineer (FAE). This is an exceptional opportunity for an aspiring engineer, including recent graduates or those with limited professional experience, as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success. As an FAE, you will be the crucial link between Intel’s innovative products and our valued customers, acting as a technical expert and trusted advisor. Your primary mission will be to provide deep technical support, guidance, and solutions for Intel’s broad portfolio of products, including processors, chipsets, FPGAs, and more.
This role involves understanding customer requirements, troubleshooting technical challenges, conducting product demonstrations, and assisting with design-ins. You will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction and drive adoption of Intel technologies. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert pre-sales and post-sales technical support to Intel's customers and partners.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training sessions for customers.
- Assist customers with product selection, architectural design, system integration, and debugging.
- Work closely with sales teams to identify technical needs and propose optimal Intel solutions.
- Act as a technical liaison between customers and Intel's internal engineering and product development teams.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Gather customer feedback and requirements, relaying them to product development for future improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Intel products, technologies, and competitive landscapes.
- Travel to customer sites within Israel as required to provide on-site support and build strong relationships.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, and digital electronics.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A passion for technology and continuous learning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship or project experience in hardware design, embedded systems, or technical support.
- Familiarity with Intel x86 architecture, FPGAs, or other semiconductor technologies.
- Experience with debugging tools and methodologies.
- Basic understanding of networking protocols and system security concepts.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
