Key Responsibilities
- Assist kitchen staff with food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, floors, and equipment, in accordance with health regulations.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., dishwashers, fryers under supervision) following training guidelines.
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans manually or using a dishwasher, ensuring all items are properly sanitized.
- Stock and organize inventory, ensuring proper rotation of products to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
- Dispose of waste and recycling according to established company and local procedures.
- Help unpack and store deliveries, verifying order accuracy and reporting discrepancies.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Support the kitchen team in any other duties as required to ensure smooth and efficient operations during peak and off-peak hours.
