Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various production machines (e.g., CNC machines, presses, grinders) according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Load and unload materials and parts onto machines, ensuring correct positioning and alignment.
- Perform in-process quality checks and measurements using precision instruments to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Monitor machine performance, identify minor issues, and report complex problems to supervisors or maintenance staff.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations.
- Complete production logs, reports, and other necessary documentation accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimise production flow and troubleshoot issues.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including quality management systems (e.g., AS9100).
- Assist with basic machine maintenance tasks as required.
