This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that our high-quality truck body components are meticulously prepared, packaged, and ready for shipment or further assembly. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack and label finished or semi-finished truck body components according to specific instructions and quality standards.
- Inspect products for defects or damage before packing, reporting any issues to supervisors immediately.
- Operate basic packing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations.
- Load and unload materials and products, assisting with inventory management as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
- Perform general labour duties as needed within the factory setting.
- Document and maintain accurate packing records and inventory counts.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read instructions and count items.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Adherence to strict safety protocols and procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or packing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift operator certification (an asset, but not required).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of basic quality control principles.
