Key Responsibilities
- Review reported content (e.g., text, images, videos) on Facebook platforms to determine adherence to Community Standards and policies.
- Make accurate and consistent decisions on a high volume of content reports daily.
- Identify and escalate complex or ambiguous cases to senior moderators or specialized teams.
- Contribute to improving content moderation guidelines and processes by providing feedback.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding user data and sensitive content.
- Stay informed about current events, cultural trends, and policy updates to ensure effective moderation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and quality in moderation efforts.
- Participate in ongoing training and calibration sessions to enhance moderation skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- 1+ year of experience in content moderation, customer service, or a related field requiring critical thinking and decision-making.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with common internet and software applications.
