Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, identifying key business risks and vulnerabilities across various client functions and processes.
- Design, implement, and test internal controls to mitigate identified risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Perform detailed analysis of business processes, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and control strength.
- Collaborate effectively with client stakeholders, internal teams, and senior management to understand business needs and deliver tailored risk solutions.
- Prepare clear, concise, and impactful reports and presentations on findings and recommendations for client leadership.
- Stay abreast of emerging risks, regulatory changes, and industry trends to provide informed advice and foresight to clients.
- Contribute to the development of proposals, thought leadership, and innovative solutions within the risk advisory practice.
- Actively participate in professional development activities, maintaining relevant certifications and expanding expertise.
- Manage project work streams, ensuring timely delivery and quality of deliverables within agreed-upon scope and budget.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in risk management, internal audit, compliance, or consulting roles.
- Demonstrated understanding of risk frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000) and internal control principles.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a client-facing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, Finance, Information Systems).
