Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic tests to identify mechanical and electrical issues in marine engines and systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and spark plug checks.
  • Repair, rebuild, and replace engines, transmissions, propellers, and other marine components.
  • Install and troubleshoot marine electrical systems, navigation equipment, and accessories.
  • Execute repairs on hydraulic steering systems, pumps, and other vessel utilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all services performed, parts used, and hours worked.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and environmental regulations in all tasks.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a marine mechanic, specializing in engine repair (inboard/outboard).
