Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of barbering services including precision haircuts, fades, shaves, beard trims, and styling for male and female clients.
- Consult with clients to understand their styling preferences, offer expert advice, and recommend suitable services and products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, tools, and equipment in strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience for all clients.
- Stay updated with current hair trends, cutting techniques, and product knowledge through continuous learning and professional development.
- Manage appointments, process payments, and assist with inventory management of barbering supplies and retail products.
- Actively contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in various haircutting techniques (e.g., fades, tapers, layers, classic cuts).
- Expertise in straight razor shaving and beard grooming.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of hygiene and sanitation.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- At least 2 years of professional barbering experience in a salon or barbershop setting.
- Strong artistic flair and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or diploma from a recognized barbering or cosmetology school.
- Experience with chemical treatments (e.g., hair coloring, relaxers) is a plus.
- Knowledge of various hair and skin care products and ability to make recommendations.
- Proven track record of building and retaining a loyal client base.
