Job Description

Port Antonio High School is seeking a dedicated Exam Supervisor – Invigilator, Coordinator to oversee the smooth and fair administration of examinations. This pivotal role ensures that all examinations are conducted in strict accordance with established guidelines and policies, creating an equitable and secure testing environment for our students. As an Exam Supervisor, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of exam administration, from pre-exam preparation and invigilation during the exam to post-exam procedures and coordination. Your keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and ability to manage a calm and controlled atmosphere will be crucial in maintaining the credibility and integrity of our assessment processes. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the set-up of examination venues, ensuring all necessary materials (question papers, answer sheets, stationery) are present and correctly distributed.
- Clearly communicate examination rules and regulations to candidates before the start of each exam session.
- Actively invigilate candidates during examinations, maintaining silence and order, and ensuring compliance with all examination guidelines.
- Vigilantly monitor candidates for any signs of malpractice or irregularities and report any breaches of conduct immediately and accurately.
- Provide clear instructions and support to candidates regarding exam procedures and any permitted aids.
- Manage the collection, accurate counting, and secure packaging of all examination scripts and materials at the end of each session.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates regarding exam-related queries or issues during the session.
- Collaborate with the academic and administrative teams to coordinate exam schedules and logistical requirements.
- Prepare detailed incident reports for any issues, irregularities, or emergencies that occur during an examination.
- Ensure the secure storage and handling of confidential examination materials both before and after exam periods.

- Experience with conflict resolution and managing diverse groups.
