Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and budget, specializing in decorative themes.
  • Develop creative and innovative event concepts, including décor, lighting, floral arrangements, and overall aesthetic design.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with a diverse range of vendors (caterers, florists, rental companies, entertainers, etc.), with a focus on decoration elements.
  • Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring all financial targets are met.
  • Create detailed event timelines, production schedules, and floor plans.
  • Oversee the complete setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all decorative and logistical elements are executed flawlessly.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the event day, including vendor arrivals, guest flow, service delivery, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of event trends, particularly in decoration and design.
  • Ensure all events comply with safety regulations and company standards.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in event planning, with a strong portfolio showcasing decoration and coordination.
  • Exceptional creativity and a keen eye for aesthetics and design.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications
