Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of various events, including conferences, meetings, banquets, and social gatherings.
  • Prepare event-related documents, such as proposals, contracts, timelines, and floor plans.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., F&B, Audio-Visual, Housekeeping) to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Support the sales team in preparing presentations and site inspections for prospective clients.
  • Manage event logistics, including room setup, equipment rental, and vendor coordination.
  • Provide on-site support during events to address any issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date event records and client databases.
  • Assist with post-event evaluations and client feedback collection.
  • Learn and adhere to all hotel standards, policies, and procedures related to event management.

Required Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Latvian.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of an additional language (e.g., Russian, German) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with event management software or CRM systems.
