The University of Delaware is seeking a motivated Event Assistant for a temporary role to support our dynamic events team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup and teardown, including arranging furniture, decor, and technical equipment.
- Support event registration, greeting attendees, and distributing materials.
- Provide on-site assistance during events, addressing guest inquiries and resolving minor issues promptly.
- Help manage event logistics, such as signage placement, crowd flow, and vendor coordination.
- Conduct pre-event checks to ensure all elements are in place and operational.
- Assist with post-event evaluations and clean-up.
- Perform administrative duties, including organizing event materials, maintaining records, and responding to emails.
- Work collaboratively with the events team to ensure a cohesive and successful event experience.
