Key Responsibilities
- Successfully complete the comprehensive CDL training program and obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of freight.
- Maintain electronic logs and other required documentation accurately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
Required Skills
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Possess a valid standard driver's license.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Willingness to commit to a multi-week CDL training program.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
