Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events from various security systems (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS) to identify potential threats, anomalies, and suspicious activities around the clock.
- Perform initial analysis and triage of security incidents, escalating complex issues to senior analysts for further investigation and resolution.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of security documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), incident response playbooks, and security policies.
- Support vulnerability assessment and penetration testing initiatives by assisting with scanning tools and reporting findings.
- Participate in incident response activities, helping to contain, eradicate, and recover from cyber attacks.
- Contribute to security awareness programs by providing input and assisting with training materials for internal teams and clients.
- Research and stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations and network teams, to implement and enforce security measures.
- Learn and adapt to new security technologies and methodologies as the threat landscape evolves.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong foundational understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, routers) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and evolving technical environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or CCNA Security.
- Prior internship or project experience in a cybersecurity-related role.

- Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and data analysis.
