Key Responsibilities

  • Embark on a structured training program to gain in-depth knowledge of TE Connectivity's extensive product portfolio, including connectors, sensors, and application tooling.
  • Actively support senior sales executives in managing customer accounts, preparing for client meetings, and following up on sales opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and comprehensive proposals to prospective and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their unique technical requirements and challenges, translating them into viable TE Connectivity solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to ensure customer feedback is incorporated and product development aligns with market needs.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends within relevant industries.
  • Provide initial-level technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers, escalating complex issues to appropriate internal teams.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and customer visits to represent TE Connectivity and expand professional networks.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities within our CRM system.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, etc.) or a closely related technical field.
  • Demonstrated strong interest in technical sales and customer interaction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Exceptional problem-solving aptitude and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to quickly learn and master complex technical concepts and product functionalities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a significant asset for effective communication within the local market.
