Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming inventory, including unloading shipments and scanning items into the system.
- Efficiently pick customer orders from inventory using handheld scanners or other provided equipment.
- Accurately pack and label orders for shipment, ensuring products are protected and correctly addressed.
- Load completed orders onto trucks for delivery, following safety and logistical protocols.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such such as forklifts or pallet jacks after receiving full certification (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering strictly to all Amazon safety guidelines and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production and quality targets.
- Actively participate in safety meetings and training sessions to promote a secure working environment.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours) and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Basic computer literacy for operating scanners and other operational equipment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
