Intel Israel is seeking a motivated and talented Entry-Level Firmware Engineer to join our innovative R&D team in Haifa. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement firmware for embedded systems and various Intel hardware platforms.
- Write, debug, and optimize C/C++ code for low-level system components, drivers, and device interfaces.
- Collaborate with hardware design engineers to ensure seamless hardware-firmware integration.
- Perform extensive testing and validation of firmware to ensure functionality, stability, and performance.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues at the hardware-software interface using debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and provide technical documentation.
- Stay updated with new technologies and industry best practices in firmware and embedded systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
- Work effectively in a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and expertise.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
- Solid understanding of computer architecture and operating systems fundamentals.
- Familiarity with embedded systems concepts (e.g., microcontrollers, memory management, interrupts).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
