Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accurate data entry and meticulous ledger maintenance.
- Support the preparation of various financial statements and comprehensive management reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile other crucial financial documents to ensure accuracy.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions with precision and timeliness.
- Assist diligently in period-end (month-end and year-end) closing procedures.
- Maintain highly organized and accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Actively learn, understand, and apply core accounting principles, theories, and concepts.
- Collaborate effectively with other internal departments to gather and verify financial information.
- Support external and internal audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Contribute proactively to continuous process improvement initiatives within the finance department.
Required Skills
- Fluency in both Portuguese and English (written and spoken) is essential.
- Strong foundational understanding of basic accounting principles (acquired through academic studies).
- Exceptional attention to detail and unwavering accuracy in all tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced skills in Excel.
- Excellent analytical and robust problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and effective time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
