Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the full cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate correspondence.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding, including preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, managing new hire paperwork, and facilitating orientation sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and physical files, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Support benefits administration by assisting employees with inquiries, enrolling new hires, and processing changes.
  • Process payroll-related documentation and ensure timely submission to the payroll department.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, providing accurate information or redirecting to appropriate resources.
  • Generate various HR reports as needed for management and compliance purposes.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating HR-related events, training sessions, and employee engagement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing correspondence.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
