Job Description
Brand Momentum is looking for a passionate and data-driven Email Marketing Manager to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere in Ontario, while still being part of our collaborative Mississauga-based team culture. As our Email Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in developing, executing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns that drive engagement, cultivate customer loyalty, and ultimately contribute to our clients’ business growth. You will own the entire email marketing lifecycle, from strategy and segmentation to content creation, deployment, and performance analysis. This role demands a blend of creative thinking, technical proficiency, and analytical rigor. You will be responsible for crafting compelling email narratives, designing user-friendly templates, and ensuring all communications align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies and campaigns to support client objectives across various industries.
- Manage the end-to-end email campaign process, including segmentation, content creation, A/B testing, deployment, and reporting.
- Design and implement email templates, ensuring mobile responsiveness and optimal user experience.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on email campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Continuously improve email KPIs such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and unsubscribe rates.
- Develop and manage drip campaigns, nurturing sequences, and automated email workflows.
- Ensure all email communications are compliant with CASL, GDPR, and other relevant privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and other marketing specialists to ensure brand consistency and integrated campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest email marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in email marketing management.
- Proven experience with major email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze).
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, A/B testing, deliverability, and analytics.
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email template customization.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects in a remote setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an agency environment.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
- Certification in relevant email marketing platforms or digital marketing.
- Experience with A/B testing tools and conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design principles for email visuals.
